[解説]ATB701Aとはどんな機種か(2)

どうでもいいですがカバン買いました。

ちょいと値上がりした?
前回の続きです。

今回は地味にソフトウェアの中身を覗きます。
でもアプリの説明は面白くないのでもっと面白くない設定ファイル類を抜き出してみたりします。



システム内部

なんと最初からrootが取られている

とくに何も考えずにLinux母艦につないで、adb接続してみる。

CPUクロックはどこまで上げられそうか

システム規定は1008MHzです。 ROM Toolbox Proで確認。
8MHz得しました(嘘)。CPUクロックスライダーの右に余裕があるので、オーバクロックの可能性は1.5GHzくらいまではありますが、カタログに書かれている1.5GHzというのは多分ありえないです。 試しに、1392MHzあたりまで気軽に上げてみたら、即座にシステムが凍りつきました。普通にやってはダメです。

限界は1200MHzくらいのようですが、(訂正:さっき1200Mhzで死にました…結構安定しない…もう少し下げて様子見ます)ここまで上げても特に発熱増えるわけでもなくフリーズはしなかったのでむしろ上限は上げておきたいところ。

それから最低CPUクロックとして60MHzという設定になってます。いくら何でも低過ぎます。せめて120MHzから200MHz前後にしたほうがいいです。

NANDメモリのパーティション構成

このタブレットで使われている中華SoCはAllWinner A10です。これは結構情報が蓄積されていて、imapx210とはえらい違いです(とはいえメジャー機種と比べれば機種自体の情報は足らないのだろうけれど)。

パーティション内容はこういう感じで取得できた。 ところで、
/dev/block/nandd /system ext4 rw,relatime,user_xattr,barrier=0,data=ordered 0 0
危険すぎる…。これはまずいと思うぞ…。

それから、パーティションダンプ取得の儀式。外部SDカード(最低16GBはほしい)を突っ込んで、/mnt/extsd の下に tempを作って下記。11パーティションあります。ここ、CMW based Recovery をインストールする際に重要なのでこの11パーティションある、ということは覚えておくこと。

え?busybox入ってるん?
実はこのことで一つハマったことが…

Busybox InstallerなどでBusyboxを /system/xbin あたりに入れるとします。

BusyboxInstallerは多重インストールをしないように、Busyboxのインストール時にシステムに存在する既存のBusyboxを消しにかかります。

すると、init.rcに入っている、次の行が動かなくなります。


service preinstall /system/bin/busybox sh /system/bin/preinstall.sh


Busybox Installerではbusyboxは/system/bin以外に入れてはいけません。
